Our Napa Valley Cab is sustainably farmed in Napa’s famed Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. Known as the "sweet spot" and heralded for moderate temperatures and balance, its soils are perfect for making rich silky, reds (it's also where we host vineyard guests). Aged 26 Months in French Oak, this limited release wine has the structure of iconic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons, yet is unique in its grace and subtlety, gaining complexity and nuance over time.

Tasting Notes
Rich, Silky, Bold, Spicy, and complex. This is a softer, more balanced expression of the iconic Napa Valley Cabernet. aAromas of cherry, lavender and cocoa with flavors of cherry pie, black currant, spice cabinet and soft tannins
Vineyard Notes
Cool air and breezes pushes up though Carneros while hot air flows down from Calistoga into Oak Knoll, creating more moderate climate conditions and richer, softer, more balanced cabernet. Vineyard produces nice medium clusters, picked Oct 4th
Production Notes
Hand harvested at night, fermented on the skins for 21 days. Pressed to barrel to finish malolactic fermentation. Aged in French Oak Barrels 23 months.

Food Pairing Notes
A much more food friendly Napa Valley Cabernet, this wine pairs with red meats, red sauces, and even heartier fish. We LOVE it with halibut with red sauce and capers.

I think I was among the first to try this wine and it is wonderful. Can't believe it's a 2017!
