Weather Pinot Noir is made from the finest, sustainably farmed grapes of the Russian River Valley. Balanced, and worthy of saving or savoring now, this limited production Pinot is made to pair perfectly with food and friends.

With the help of two deeply-rooted winemaking families, winemakers Jack O’Neill & Cary Pierce (acoustic duo Jackopierce) are proud to present Weather. The name, a song title from their T Bone Burnett produced debut album, depicts a man who brings much needed rain with him when he returns home from an arduous journey. This speaks to the necessity of the perfect weather conditions required to make this balanced wine, and also parallels Jack and Cary's storied 25 year career on the road.

Weather delivers delicious hints of ripe red fruit, caramel and cola that contrast perfectly with the warm, round undertones of its earthy tannins.

Here’s what (one of Food & Wine’s Top 10 online wine sites) had to say about Weather:

""WOW! What a score!! If you buy one Pinot Noir this year - BUY THIS ONE. Russian River Pinot at a price like this comes around but once or twice in a lifetime! We were all slack-jawed after tasting this…Russian River, of course, is pinot paradise, and this small-production wine has a cool story to boot.  A flat-out delicious, complex creation, it glides over your palate with rich texture, cola nut, cherries and pomegranate, with a tasty touch of toffee and French oak spice. Dangerously drinkable pinot… Don’t miss!”

I'll admit I don't know all that much about wine. But I know what I like and I love this Pinot. I tasted it from the barrel and can't wait to taste it from the bottle. Well done JP.

Being that I was involved in this project from start to finish I admit that I'm not exactly an impartial judge; but that said, hats off to Brian Brakesman, Cary Pierce Jack O'Neill and everyone else that helped make this tasty, crowd pleasing Russian River Pinot. I love it and am proud to be a part of the team.

My favorite wines are usually big bold California Cabs so I was surprised to find this Pinot to be so yummy. I LOVE it and am ordering at least one case.

One of the smoothest and easiest to drink wines we've had. Cheers to all of you who had a hand in making this wine. One of our absolute favorites.

I admint I am a fan of Pinots and a fan of Jackopierce ... so I couldn't resist when the 2 were combined together! I love this Pinot and it is now one of my favorites. JW Thomas has also been great to work with since we had an issue with one of the bottles leaking during shipment. Thanks Jack and Cary for making a great wine!

Thanks SO much for all the support Weather is getting. I am a MAJOR Pinot fan - especiaily Russian River Valley. I've been a major part of the taste of this wine from the beginning and Weather has exceeded ALL my expectations. It's smooth, fruitful and drinkable but still sophisticated and not too heavy. It's my favorite Pinot out there right now and I love sharing it with my friends! THANKS SO MUCH!

First of all, I bought a case to serve at a party and expected to serve 6 bottles. The case was gone only half way into the party and several people were asking where they could buy more.... And several did purchase more... My take on the wine is a nice balanced pinot, full bouquet that flows from the glass. Nice representation for the vintage without overblown flabby fruit. Keeping Pinot real! The bonus is, you can't beat the price point on this wine. Drinks better than pinot twice its cost.

My preferred wine is Pinot, and over time I've become rather picky. Weather definitely has my attention! My only dilemma is the case I previously ordered is quickly disappearing and we will be needing more!

A very velvety and approachable Pinot Noir. Great with food or just to sip on the patio. An excellent wine and very affordable.

I have been to the Russian River Vally and tasted many Pinot Noir wens from the area. I found Weather to be one of the best representations of what the region has to offer. Whatmade it stand out in my opinion, is the subtle fruitiness of it. That mixed with the earthy overall flavor, had me with the first sip!

Nice light body with a black berry/dark cherry taste. Complemented my filet perfectly this evening, even though it was 10 degrees outside.

Nice depth, but still a light body. Great representation of what I love about Russian River Pinots. Can't believe this is the first wine y'all have made. Love JP and love this Weather!

I shared a bottle of this delicious Pinot Noir with Cary's dad (psst... He's my dad too!). It started out light and fruity and ended with a chocolate note. The taste lingered and only made me want to taste those flavors again! The nice thing about Weather is that you don't feel you have weathered a storm the following morning! What a wonderful way to enjoy the holiday season. I am Off to buy more!

Typically I drink Argentine or Spanish reds, so venturing into the Russian River Valley Pinot was out of my comfort zone. But, admittedly, I am a shameless JP groupie and had to show support, so I purchased a case of Weather. What a wonderful surprise for me! Incredibly drinkable, very earthy, nice spice (but no pinch)... Very well done and am looking forward to tasting 2013 vintage and beyond!

Perfect summer Pinot, that is big enough to accompany a steak in the winter too. Balanced, earthy flavor, with a great finish. One of the best value Russian River Pinots i've tried. It's a steal.
